Esta terminal se halla ubicada sobre el Río Paraná,
km. 454,4, altura Ciudad de Puerto Gral. San Martín,
provincia de Santa Fé. Su propietario es la firma expor-
tadora CARGILL S.A.C.I.; con una capacidad en Planta
para almacenar 750.000 tons de granos, subproductos,
harinas y además con una de 50.000 tons capacidad de
almacenamiento de aceites vegetales en tanques de
tierra.
La misma posee una capacidad de recepción de
40.000 tons diarias a través de camiones, por ferroca-
rril y también por su muelle de barcazas, tanto en gra-
nos, subproductos y aceites vegetales.
El muelle de buques posee 4 dolphines de hormigón
concreto, para amarre y embarques en buques oceáni-
cos de hasta 230 metros de eslora máxima permitida
por las Autoridades marítimas, la entrada/salida de
buques se hace sin la necesidad de utilizar remolcado-
res, sólo con la asistencia del práctico de puerto desig-
nado para su maniobra.
El elevador puede cargar con dos cintas, caños teles-
cópicos en forma simultanea haciendo un promedio
de embarque de 1000 tons hora, operable las 24 horas
los 365 días año.
This terminal is located on the Parana River, km. 454,4, height
Puerto Gral. San Martin, city - Province Santa Fe. His Owners
is the Exporting Company CARGILL S.A.C.I. ; with a capacity in
Plant to store 750,000 tons of grains, by-products, soya meals
and in addition with one to 80,000 tons capacity of vegetal oil
storage in earth tanks. The same one has a capacity of
reception of 20,000 tons daily through trucks, by rail-road
and also by its wharf river barges, as much in vegetal grains,
by-products and oils.
The berth has 4 dolphines of concrete cemments, for
mooring and loading in oceanic ships of up to 230 meters of
Maxima length allowed by the Naval Administration, the
in/out of ships becomes without the necessity to use
tugboats, only with the attendance of the harbor pilot
designated for its maneuver. The elevator can load with two
tapes, sewers by telescope in form synchronizes doing an
average of 1200 tons loading by hour, operable the 24 hours

country. Terminal quebracho has an average of unloading of

them whom 1500 transport tons and have 7-9 hours for
unloading of vegetal oil by shore lines of 6 inches. When
these barges arrive at the port and the berth at time of this
occupied by another operations, they make delay in the
barge station that this port with its infrastructure has

by Harbor Authorities, Customs and Migrations, since the
main tugboats disconnect and continue down river
navigation.

Ritmo de carga:
Para granos y subproductos es de 2.000
TN/HORA, Aceites vegetales el embarque se realiza a un ritmo
de aproximadamente 1.000 TN/HORA.
Capacidad de almacenje:
730.000 TN para granos/subproductos y 83.000 toneladas
para aceites.
